On Saturday, November 2, 2024, the USGA Museum located at 77 Liberty Corner Road, NJ, is rolling out the red carpet for Veterans and their families. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., enjoy a day filled with gratitude, history, and resources, all free of charge.
Veterans and their families will have the opportunity to dive into the rich tapestry of golfing history with complimentary tours led by knowledgeable museum staff. Discover the stories behind iconic moments in golf and see historic artifacts up close.
For those fascinated by military history, a selection of military vehicles will be on display, offering a unique glimpse into the past and the machines that played pivotal roles in various conflicts.
Beyond the exhibits, the day is packed with valuable resources tailored for Veterans. Ensure to bring a copy of your DD214 to enroll in VA benefits. Here's what you can expect:
- VA Healthcare Enrollment Services: Get registered for healthcare services tailored for Veterans.
- Toxic Exposure Screenings: Physicians will be on-site to conduct screenings.
- VA Benefit Support: Regional Office staff will be available to assist with claims and other benefits.
